Question 2

Can you make a custom photo cake in Davie, FL?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mood 4 Cakes creates custom photo cakes in Davie, FL using edible images, personal photos, logos, characters, and custom printed details. Each cake is made to order and designed around your occasion, colors, image, and serving size.

Our photo cakes are not basic grocery-store-style cakes. The edible image is added as part of a custom buttercream design, so the final cake can feel more personal, polished, and styled for your celebration.

Question 3

Can you put a real photo on a cake?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can add a real photo to a cake using an edible printed image. This can be a family photo, baby picture, couple photo, pet photo, funny image, graduation photo, or any meaningful picture you want to include.
For the best result, we recommend sending a clear, bright, high-quality image. Blurry screenshots, dark photos, or heavily cropped pictures may not print as clearly on edible paper.

Question 4

Can you make a birthday cake with a picture?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Birthday photo cakes are one of the most popular ways to make a cake feel personal. The photo can be the main focus of the cake, or it can be combined with buttercream details, colors, borders, florals, sprinkles, stars, hearts, toppers, or other decorations.Photo cakes work well for kids’ birthdays, milestone birthdays, surprise parties, funny cakes, family celebrations, and themed
birthday cakes.

Question 5

Can you add a logo to a cake?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can create custom cakes with edible logos for businesses, events, launches, team celebrations, corporate gifts, and branded parties.
Please send the logo file before placing the order so we can check the quality and layout. A clean, high-resolution logo usually gives the best printed result. If the logo is too small, blurry, or low quality, we may ask for a better file before confirming the design.

Question 6

Can you add a character or themed image to a cake?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can create character-inspired cakes using edible images and matching buttercream design details. This is a good option when you want a themed cake without sculpted fondant figures.Send us the image or inspiration first, and we’ll confirm what is possible based on the cake size, image quality, and design style. The final cake can be inspired by the character, colors, and theme, but it may not be an exact copy of another cake design.

Question 7

What kind of image should I send for an edible photo cake?

Accepted Answer

The best image is clear, bright, and high resolution. Original photos, clean digital files, and high-quality images usually print better than screenshots, dark photos, or images saved from social media.
Try to avoid sending images that are blurry, pixelated, heavily filtered, or cropped too close to the face or main subject. If you are not sure whether your image will work, send it with your order request and we’ll review it before confirming the design.

Question 8

Will the edible photo look exactly like the original image?

Accepted Answer

Not always. Edible images can look slightly different from the original photo because they are printed with edible ink on edible paper. Colors may print softer, and very small details may not appear as sharp as they do on a phone or computer screen.Clear, bright, high-resolution images usually give the best result. We’ll use the image as carefully as possible, but edible printing has natural limits compared to regular photo printing.

Please feel free to share your ideas and reference images when you submit your inquiry through our website!

Question 9

Will the cake look like a regular grocery-store photo cake?

Accepted Answer

No. Our photo cakes are custom designed with Swiss meringue buttercream. The edible image is only one part of the design, and the rest of the cake is decorated to match the celebration.
You can keep the design simple and clean, or we can add buttercream piping, colors, florals, hearts, stars, borders, toppers, sprinkles, vintage details, or other decorative elements depending on the style you want.

Question 10

Can you recreate a photo cake design I found online?

Accepted Answer

We can use inspiration photos as a guide, but we do not guarantee an exact copy. Every cake is custom made, and the final result depends on the cake size, colors, image quality, available decorations, and the style of buttercream work.
If you send an inspiration photo, we’ll use it to understand the overall direction and create a version that fits your order, serving size, and budget.

Question 11

What size photo cake should I order?

Accepted Answer

The best size depends on how many people the cake needs to serve and how large the edible image should appear. A larger cake gives more space for the photo and surrounding decoration, while a smaller cake may require a simpler layout.
Send us your guest count, event date, and image, and we’ll recommend the best cake size for your design. If the image has a lot of details or text, a larger cake may work better.

Can I add matching cupcakes to my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! Adding a batch of custom cupcakes is a great way to ensure you have enough treats for all your guests. I can create cupcakes that match the theme, colors, and flavor profile of your main cake. Please mention that you are interested in cupcakes when you submit your inquiry, and I’ll be happy to provide a combined quote for your order!

Question 13

How early should I order a photo cake?

Accepted Answer

As early as possible, especially for weekend orders. Photo cakes require time for image preparation, edible printing, cake design, baking, decorating, and scheduling.
